2007 Best Of's -- Entertainment Issue

This post is dedicated to things I liked most about 2007.

Firstly, but not foremostly, this book, Mountains Beyond Mountains by Tracy Kidder, which was so good. Basically, it appealed to everything that I enjoy reading. Within weeks of learning about the world of Paul Farmer, I began seeing his name everywhere, but probably because I glazed over this when I couldn't appreciate the significance.

Secondly, J. Crew. I denied it forever, but can no longer. I used to deny dressing like a prep, but hear this out. The number one reason for my conversion being this jacket, so awesome that it even has a name, the velvet Bella.

Still, I don't think that one jacket qualifies me as a prep. The significance of this jacket is key. I could almost draw the comparison of myself and this jacket to Michael Scott of The Office and his jeans. You can see a descriptive clip here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D5iP8OLcCvU

While we're on the subject of The Office, let's throw that in there.

this has been one of my lamer posts; I'm bored already, overwhelmed by the great task that summarizing 2007 is.
